Job Description

SCOPE: 
Assistant Cost Managers support our team in varying types and sizes of projects in the pre / post contract stages. Our projects are varied and can be relatively small or complex and large.  

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE: 

  •  To support the Cost Management team, taking responsibility for allocated tasks. 
  • To help us provide excellent service delivery to our clients, gain their trust and enhance our reputation. 
  • To help us ensure that client objectives are met through the delivery of an effective cost management service from pre contract to construction completion. 

KEY EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Knowledge of and experience in the Real Estate / Property sector. 
  • Knowledge of the Cost Management / Quantity Surveying profession. 
  • Basic experience in the measurement and quantification of building works and Bills of   Quantities. 
  • Professional approach and confident in your ability to add value to our team. 
  • Ability to work with others and accept instruction in a team environment. 
  • Willingness to listen and learn and develop your skills. 


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

  • Measurement of building works.
  • Taking personal responsibility for work produced.  
  • Assisting the team to ensure accurate and timely production of information and reports.  
  • Interfacing with team members in a professional manner.  
  • A desire to progress your career to the next level.  

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar.  
  • 0-2 years of experience in a similar role. 
  • Knowledge of the construction industry
