Job Description

  • As a Senior Consultant, you will support the delivery of ESG, climate and risk advisory projects for Energy and Natural Resources clients, working closely with managers and project teams. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering ESG gap assessments against IFC Performance Standards and Equator Principles 4 (EP4), including review of site processes and policies.
  • Supporting carbon accounting and emissions profiling across Scope 1, 2 and 3, including NGERS and NPI compliance reporting.
  • Assisting with decarbonisation advisory for safeguard facilities, including baseline emissions calculations, future emissions modelling and SMC forecasts.
  • Contributing to Climate Change Risk Assessments aligned to TCFD and ASRS AASB S2 climate disclosure requirements.
  • Providing project and ESG implementation support, including document management, stakeholder meetings and high‑quality report writing.

Qualifications

  • To be successful in this role, you will have experience delivering ESG and climate advisory services and a strong interest in the Energy and Natural Resources sector, including:

  • Experience in ESG, sustainability, climate or risk advisory, preferably within consulting or professional services.
  • Working knowledge of carbon accounting, emissions reporting and Australian regulatory frameworks (NGERS, NPI, Safeguard Mechanism).
  • Exposure to climate risk assessments and ESG frameworks such as TCFD, IFC Performance Standards or Equator Principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and technical information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing client‑ready reports and documentation.
