Job Description

  1. Lead and oversee a multidisciplinary data team, deliver high-quality analytics, cost management, and report solutions across multiple client projects.
  2. Direct the development and enhancement of dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, and Looker to track project performance, financials, and KPIs.
  3. Extract and analyse actionable insights from large datasets using SQL, ensure accuracy in visualizations and alignment with strategic objectives.
  4. Oversee data workflows including data migration, cleaning, transformation, and modelling using Python, R, and Advanced Excel (Power Query, Macros, VBA).
  5. Supervise the conversion of complex SQL queries into client-ready reports, follow client’s standards and preferred software.
  6. Guide the development of Python scripts for web scraping and automation, improve data acquisition and operational efficiency.
  7. Manage project cost dashboards to ensure real-time visibility into budgets by development, fund source, and delivery pillar.
  8. Collaborate closely with stakeholders and clients, represent the data and cost management functions throughout all project phases.
  9. Lead integration of analytics with web technologies, utilize HTML, CSS, and basic web design to enhance visualization and user interaction.
  10. Apply web and marketing analytics tools including Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to track user behaviour and campaign effectiveness.
  11. Utilize cloud-based platforms including BigQuery, AWS, and Azure to manage scalable, secure data environments.
  12. Drive continuous improvement in cost management tools, templates, and report practices to support agile, data-driven decision-making.
  13. Manage financial performance and forecast across multiple commissions, ensure accurate margin tracking and alignment with business targets.
  14. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, mentoring, and performance reviews to support ongoing staff development and team growth.
  15. Staff management – Input into the formal management of staff and recruitment interviews and undertake Staff Performance reviews.

  9. Creating optimized data models and establishing relationships between datasets to enable efficient querying, seamless drill-down analysis, and data-driven decision making.
  10. Implementing data validation and quality checks at every ETL stage to detect anomalies or errors early and collaborating with data team to establish data standards, and accessing controls.
  11. Performing root cause analysis to identify performance bottlenecks, and operational inefficiencies and conducting ad hoc analysis to answer urgent business questions or support critical decisions.
  12. Translating complex findings and calculations into clear, story-driven presentations for executives and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and 6 years of experience in job offered or 6 years of experience in the Related Occupation.
