Job Description
Turner & Townsend is looking for a Project Coordinator to support Front-End Planning & Preconstruction for data centre campuses. It is a diverse role and a great opportunity to work on an exciting project for a major multinational client.
Responsibilities:
- Pre-construction Stakeholder Management: Navigating the complex regional landscape in the Netherlands, coordinating with the relevant stage gate owners and contributors such as site acquisition, Design and Construction teams.
- Driving strategic permit resolution and aligning program schedules to ensure on-time delivery of capacity.
- Site Readiness & Early Works: Coordinating with PMCs on enabling works (e.g., construction power, dewatering) to prepare sites for execution.
- Manage project progress through the Stage Gate (SG-0 > SG-3) lifecycle and assist with project controls and funding approvals.
- Set up and manage syncs to review and track project-specific risks and change orders.
- Supporting campus planning initiatives and early-stage configuration decisions.
- Organizing and supporting project progress meetings within the Planning & Preconstruction framework.
- Project reporting including invoice analysis, project cash flow management and associated variance reporting
- General project management support to a range of Project Management and Operational teams
- Occasional travel to data center sites in Netherlands will be required.
Qualifications
- MBO education (minimum)
- Ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar role within a construction environment
- IT skills including Google Suite, MS Office, SharePoint.
- Document management tools and processes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Time management
- Prioritisation
- Language: Native or professional-level Dutch and English (Mandatory)
