Job Description
- Manage the full cycle of MEP construction activities from planning to commissioning.
- Review and approve MEP shop drawings, material submissions, method statements, and installation details.
- Ensure MEP design intent, codes, and specifications are strictly followed on site.
- Coordinate interfaces with CSA, utilities, equipment vendors, and operations teams.
- Lead daily supervision of MEP contractors and subcontractors.
- Track progress, resolve technical constraints, and ensure adequate manpower and resources.
- Conduct regular site coordination meetings and escalate issues proactively.
- Oversee installation of:
- Electrical: MV/LV systems, ELV, lighting, grounding, Panels.
- Mechanical: HVAC systems, ventilation, equipment installation.
- Plumbing: water supply, drainage, sanitary systems.
- Fire Protection: sprinklers, hydrants, alarms, pumps.
- Implement MEP QA/QC plans, inspection and testing processes, and close-out of NCRs.
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover documentation.
- Enforce safety requirements, LOTO procedures, and equipment handling protocols.
- Conduct safety walks and coordinate with HSE teams to ensure a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with Vietnamese standards and relevant international codes.
- Prepare weekly and monthly site reports on progress, risks, and mitigation actions.
- Manage RFIs, site instructions, change requests, and as-built documentation.
- Verify contractor progress claims and support QS teams with cost validation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, MEP Engineering, or related field.
- 7–10 years of experience in MEP construction management on industrial or large commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, installation methods, and local codes.
- Experience in fast‑track industrial or logistics projects preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work onsite in Vietnam.
