Job Description
We are seeking an Associate Director, Programme Advisory to join our organization in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this strategic role, you will provide expert advisory guidance on program development, implementation, and optimization while leading cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, decisive judgment, and a commitment to supporting stakeholders through complex program initiatives.
- Develop and deliver strategic advisory recommendations on program design, execution, and performance to senior leadership and key stakeholders
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of multiple programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and accountability across departments
- Conduct comprehensive program assessments and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation that communicate program status, outcomes, and recommendations to executive leadership
- Manage program budgets and resources, ensuring efficient allocation and cost-effectiveness
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, provide guidance, and maintain strong working relationships
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track program success and impact
- Identify risks and challenges within program initiatives and develop mitigation strategies
- Support the development of program policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in program management, advisory services, or related leadership roles
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex, multi-stakeholder programs from conception through completion
- Strong strategic planning and analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with proficiency in conveying complex information to diverse audiences
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams
- Advanced organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in program management tools and software
- Experience with budget management and financial oversight
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management capabilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Preferred: Experience in organizational development, strategic initiatives, or advisory consulting
- Preferred: Familiarity with the Saudi Arabian business environment and regional organizational practices
- Playing an active part in organizing and delivering bid responses, developing and pursuing internal propositions and identifying growth opportunities.
