Job Description
- Serve as the primary on-site representative for all CSA-related works.
- Review design drawings, shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of CSA works.
- Monitor construction progress involving earthworks, foundations, structural frames, architectural finishes, and external works.
- Ensure all CSA works meet project specifications, building codes, local authority requirements, and data center industry standards.
- Conduct routine site inspections to verify workmanship and materials.
- Identify, track, and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Ensure strict adherence to QA/QC processes.
- Provide technical input on structural integrity, architectural detailing, material selection, and buildability.
- Review change requests, RFIs, and design clarifications.
- Identify and mitigate design clashes, construction risks, and site issues.
- Ensure all works comply with Malaysian construction regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
- Promote safe work practices in high-risk construction environments.
- Prepare daily and weekly progress reports, site memos, and photographic documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of site instructions, inspections, and design changes.
- Support the project team during audits, inspections, and handover activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in CSA supervision, preferably in data centers, industrial plants, mission-critical facilities, or large commercial developments.
- Strong knowledge of civil and structural works, architectural details, and construction methodologies.
- Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, architectural plans, and BIM models.
- Good understanding of local building codes, MS standards, and international best practices.
