Job Description
AMCL/ Turner & Townsend are looking for a Data Asset Management Consultant to join our US business. This individual will immediately support data management and analytics for a large-scale public facilities management program. In the future this individual might have the opportunity to support various projects and market sectors with regards to asset management capability improvement projects, asset information projects, and data analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Work as a Data Asset Management Consultant within the delivery team and support the implementation of business transformation projects including asset management consultancy, training, and information projects.
- Work independently, lead, or collaborate with the wider US or global team to deliver the complete lifecycle of asset management transformation projects, from sourcing to project closure.
- Consult with clients in the improvement of their capabilities with a focus on asset management and asset management systems.
- Lead and manage the delivery of Asset Management projects for clients in line with the AMCL project governance requirements.
- Identify and manage business development and sales activities including identifying new opportunities, supporting bid work, proposal writing, and presentation development.
- Deliver project work, including but not limited to, facilitating internal and external workshops, writing reports, and delivering presentations.
- Develop and produce Asset Management products on behalf and in collaboration with clients.
- Contribute to leading thinking on emerging business and asset management topics.
- Interpret complex dataset, develop KPIs, analyze trends and perform descriptive, diagnostic, predictive & prescriptive analytics.
- Design, build and maintain Power BI dashboards.
- Lead the design and implementation of complex extract, transform and load (ETL) processes from multiple sources, ensuring scalability, efficiency, accuracy and reliability.
- Process confidential data and information according to guidelines.
- Communicate and present data analytics insights to the team and the clients.
- Formal report/document writing.
- Effectively translate stakeholder requirements into well‑defined data metrics
- SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Demonstrated knowledge of asset management principles and challenges across asset‑intensive sectors such as transportation, power, water, real estate, and municipal organizations
- Proficient in utilizing SQL for data analysis and reporting
- Proficient in utilizing data visualization tools such as Power BI and/or Tableau
- Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management and associated decision processes, including strategic planning, capital investment planning, reliability‑centered maintenance, and whole‑life cost modeling
- Experience with asset management IT systems, asset data, and systems engineering principles supporting successful technology procurement and delivery
- Solid grounding in business management disciplines, including governance, performance measurement, risk management, and change management
- Proven ability to analyze and improve end‑to‑end business processes across planning, operations, maintenance, safety, and procurement
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, translating business requirements into clear technical and non‑technical solutions
- Advanced analytical and technical skills, including dashboard/report development, database analysis, and application of programming or scripting for automation and problem solving
- Effective planner and problem solver, able to manage multiple projects in fast‑paced environments, deliver to deadlines and budgets, and communicate complex insights clearly while maintaining professionalism and trust
Additional Information
The salary range for this full-time role is $115K-$130K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
