Job Description

The Document Controller will be the single point of responsibility maintaining all project documentation associated with the project covering aspects of reporting, time, cost, risk and scope management. The document controller will provide support in all project reporting, cataloguing, workflow and process activities ensuring compliance to client and T&T standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To build up the documents control system and provide service in managing and controlling incoming and outgoing deliverables and revision-controlled project documentation
  • The registering, classifying, managing, tracking, filing and distributing of all electronic and hard copy project deliverables.
  • Set up, copy, scan and store documents
  • Create templates aligned to project processes
  • Manage requests for documentation and maintain revision control
  • File documents in physical and digital records and ensure appropriate storage
  • Review and maintain the accuracy of the records, editing where necessary to ensure they are up to date
  • Liaise with and distribute project related information with all levels of the project team and potentially external parties
  • Manage the processes around documentation within T&T and the project environment
  • Maintain confidentiality around sensitive documentation
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports on projects when required

Qualifications

  • At least 3 – 8 years Document Control experience in the project environment
  • Experience in working well within a team environment
  • Experience in using daily office & document software
  • Proven communication skills and team player
  • Experience for Design and Contractor data processing system experience
  • Experience using at least 2 different electronic document management systems (EDMS) in the past
  • Managing document control processes and procedures within a construction project is preferred
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
