Job summary
Due to growth and ongoing delivery success with our clients, Turner & Townsend's Digital division requires a BIM Manager with strong data analysis and visualization skills to join the team in Finland near Muhos

The role is varied, and requires a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills, experience engaging with project stakeholders, and the ability to work independently. A systematic approach to work is a must, as well as experience in BIM requirements development, implementation, execution, BIM model validation and data verification. Strong data analysis and data visualisation skills are also a must, as rotation across BIM and data analysis projects is expected.
Key Responsibilities

We lead the BIM process at organisational, programme and project level. The candidate’s responsibilities will span across multiple project stages, including:
Discovery, understanding and BIM requirements development (OIRs, AIRs, EIRs, PIRs).
BIM implementation strategy and project setup.
Project and programme BIM execution.
BIM information management and supply chain management.
BIM compliance checking and data verification.
Qualifications
Skills and Experience
7+ years’ experience in BIM management in architecture, engineering and construction projects across the entire project lifecycle.
Highly proficient in spoken and written English, with excellent command (Level C1 Advanced).
Advanced skills in configuration and management of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
Author key BIM documentation such as Asset Information Requirements, Exchange Information Requirements, Project Information Requirements, and where applicable, BIM Execution Plans.
Assure project BIM standards are being followed, reporting on key risks and effective mitigations using plain language reporting.
Consulting and business analysis skills
Proficiency in data visualisation software such as Power BI and Tableau
Strong understanding of dimensions, measures, metadata & schemas
Manage teams of BIM coordinators.
Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate with people at all levels.
Advanced-level experience in BIM authoring, validation, and coordination tools like Revit, AECOsim, Navisworks, Vectorworks, BIM Collab, Solibri Model Checker and IFC Checker.
Up to date knowledge of ISO19650 standards.
Ability to lead and support teams in the implementation of BIM on major projects and programmes.
Assess project teams’ BIM competency, advising the development of the project BIM Execution Plans and approving on behalf of the client where necessary.
Lead model assurance activities, including definition of strategy, and model and BIM data analysis.
Chair and BIM workshops with the project team to present outcomes of model assurance activities.
Desirable Skills & Experience
Data center sector experience.
Consultancy background, with client-facing experience and a client-orientated approach.
Data management, including extracting, organising and analysing BIM data, including dashboard creation via PowerBI or similar.
Knowledge of delivery requirements, quality management, and process improvement in complex construction projects.
Skilled in presenting and delivering training to groups of stakeholders.
Research, develop and implement areas of new technology, process, and emerging best practices.
Provide support to the wider business with tender bidding teams to win future work.
Core competencies
Enthusiastic and positive team player - Giving the project team confidence in the use of BIM
Excellent Communicator – ability to provide clear guidance to the whole project team, to coordinate a successful outcome
Experience in writing clear, concise requirements and documentation.
Understanding of design, BIM and procurement, and its application in planning and construction management
Understanding of BIM Competency Assessments of supply chains
Proven systematic approach to problem solving and model development protocols
Proven experience in multidisciplinary working practices and interdependencies
Proven client facing experience
Up to date knowledge of BIM technology and interoperability standards / good all round technical knowledge and enthusiasm
