Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Senior Construction Logistics Manager to join our organization in a remote area , supporting our operations based in Tabuk , Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all logistics operations for large-scale construction projects, ensuring seamless coordination between suppliers, contractors, and project teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to optimize complex supply chains while maintaining the highest standards of efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies for multiple construction projects, ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment to project sites
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with suppliers, transportation providers, and logistics partners to achieve optimal pricing and service levels
  • Oversee inventory management systems and coordinate material flow from procurement through project delivery
  • Analyze logistics data and performance metrics to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements that reduce costs and enhance operational performance
  • Lead and mentor a team of logistics coordinators and specialists, providing guidance on best practices and performance expectations
  • Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to forecast material requirements and adjust logistics plans based on project timelines and specifications
  • Manage logistics budgets, track expenditures, and prepare detailed reports on cost savings and operational metrics
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, developing contingency plans to address potential disruptions
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies across all logistics operations
  • Utilize project management and logistics software systems to track shipments, monitor inventory levels, and generate performance reports
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve logistics challenges and optimize project delivery schedules

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 - 15 years of professional experience in construction logistics, supply chain management, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years in a senior management or supervisory role
  • Proven track record managing large-scale construction projects with complex logistics requirements
  • Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders across international or regional markets
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related discipline
