Job Description

  • Oversee and manage all Interior Design (ID) fit‑out works on site, ensuring installations comply with approved ID drawings, hotel brand standards, material specifications, and mock‑up approvals.
  • Supervise daily interior fit‑out progress, monitor subcontractors’ performance, enforce high‑quality workmanship, and ensure adherence to safety and timeline requirements.
  • Coordinate interfaces between ID works and other trades such as MEP, AV/IT, FF&E, façade, signage, and specialist suppliers to avoid conflicts and ensure seamless installation.
  • Review contractors’ shop drawings with consultants, material samples, method statements, mock‑ups, and progress claims related to ID and FF&E fit‑out works.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, resolve construction issues, ensure accuracy of finishes, and prepare progress, quality, and handover reports for management and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in interior design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Professional memberships or certifications (e.g., MIID, IIDA, RIBA, LEED/AP) are an advantage.
  • 8–10 years of experience in managing ID fit‑out works for hotel, hospitality, luxury residential, or high‑end commercial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel brand design guidelines, luxury materials, finishing standards, mock‑up processes, and FF&E/OS&E coordination.
  • Proven track record in managing contractors, specialty trades, and ensuring high‑end quality control for hospitality environments
