Job Description

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for materials such as steel, concrete, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with specifications and delivery timelines.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including freight forwarding, customs clearance, and site delivery.
  • Oversee staging, storage, and just-in-time delivery to minimize site congestion.
  • Collaborate with construction managers and engineering teams to align logistics with project phases.
  • Monitor procurement budgets and forecast material costs.
  • Implement risk mitigation strategies (e.g., buffer stock, alternative sourcing).
  • Use ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and construction platforms to track procurement and delivery.
  • Maintain dashboards and reports for stakeholders on logistics performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 5 - 7 years in logistics or supply chain roles, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience with data center or large-scale industrial projects is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, customs regulations, and construction logistics.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and project management tools.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple vendors and coordinate across teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
