Job Description

An HR Shared Services Manager oversees the HR department's operational and administrative functions, ensuring consistent, accurate, and timely service delivery to employees. This includes managing HR processes, optimizing workflows, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The manager also develops and implements HR policies and procedures, and may manage a team of HR professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and optimize HR processes, ensuring they align with business needs and industry best practices.
  • Manage and develop HR professionals within the shared services team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of HR services, including payroll, benefits, employee relations, and other administrative tasks.
  • Manage and oversee HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and other HR technologies, ensuring they are used effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant HR laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Provide data and reports on HR metrics to support decision-making and track performance.
  • Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with global and regional teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Experience in HR Shared Services, preferably with exposure to Asia markets (Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR technologies.
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally with global and regional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
