• Responsible for all the day-to-day functions of the finance department being managed in a streamlined and efficient manner, with considerable attention paid to accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure appropriate controls are maintained to protect company assets and accuracy of accounting information.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and consolidated management accounts to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Detailed understanding of statutory requirements, taxation and other financial matters, with the capability of being a trusted advisor to the organisation regarding compliance obligations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for each of the business units in Korea in providing business support.
• Own relationship with external accounting and tax advisors.
• Develop and implement a continuous improvement program focusing on best practice in the use of internal financial systems, reporting and with a focus on governance and accountability.
• Provide value-adding advice and support on all aspects of financial operations in Korea.

• Degree in accountancy or finance, preferably CPA or equivalent.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrable technical capabilities in financial management with previous experience in a multi-country position as a plus.
• Highly organised with good time management skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Proficiency in English to ensure easy communication with stakeholders across Asia and the wider business
