Job Description

    • Perform data engineering, data analytics, machine learning, and statistical modeling to inform construction-oriented clients on decisions in cost management, scheduling, project management, and asset management.
    • Utilize Python (including Streamlit, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and scikit-learn), R, and SQL (MySQL, Snowflake) to build rigorous data pipelines and algorithms that are used to analyze cost, scheduling, project management data, to identify trends, and to optimize resource allocation.
    • Implement data-driven insights to enhance cost efficiency and drive informed business decisions.
    • Use Data Visualization tools including Looker, Tableau, Power BI.
    • Lead cross-functional data groups with clients to inform expectations across project delivery pipelines.
    • Lead teams on process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and streamlining internal systems.
    • Apply multi-threading techniques to enhance large-scale data processing, ensuring timely and accurate cost analysis.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions for cost management challenges.
    • Utilize your expertise in financial modeling to forecast ongoing margin levels and monthly fee/resource allocations across client accounts.
    • Leverage statistical and time-series models (including ARMA + GARCH) to predict cost fluctuations and mitigate risks.
    • Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and contribute to budgetary decisions.
    • Interface with clients, stakeholders, and consultants throughout project stages.
    • Attend networking events to foster relationships and identify cross-selling opportunities.
    • Represent the organization with technical acumen, showcasing your data-driven approach.
    • Input into staff management, including technical and behavioral recruitment interviews and performance reviews.
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence within the team.
    • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff members, emphasizing data-driven methodologies.
    • Implement data validation processes to maintain accuracy and reliability of cost estimates.
    • Collaborate with design services teams and general contractors to reconcile changes during the planning phase.
    • Lead technical consultants on preparing comprehensive automated cost estimates, incorporate data from various sources (NPA, subcontractors, quantities from A/Es).
    • Develop executive summaries and written comments for general contractor submissions for clients.
    • Present final cost plans, considering material prices, labor, contingencies, project schedules for client management.
    • Advise clients on value management and value engineering strategies.
    • Consider life cycle costs in decision-making, balancing short-term expenses with long-term benefits.

 

RELATED OCCUPATION:  

Sr. Business Intelligence Consultant or any other job title performing the following job duties:

  1. Creating and maintaining data visualizations and ETL procedures using SQL, Tableau, Streamlit, Python, Git, Docker, and AWS for data-driven decision-making with large-scale data and retail/real estate industry.
  2. Improving data quality and user trust by establishing data governance procedures that track data lineage and eliminate errors along the data pipeline using scalable statistical tools including Python and SQL, or R.
  3. Developing models for estimating space capacity planning using advanced statistical methods including Bootstrapping, gradient boosting, and linear regression.  Replacing traditional approaches with advanced statistical models using Python, Keras, and TensorFlow.
  4. Delivering insightful presentations that can impact business decisions on higher levels. Ensuring data quality and reliability across the daily ETLs in the Data Warehouse, enabling accurate and informed decision-making. Conducting data stewardship and delivering engaging presentations, resulting in strong relationships with key accounts.
  5. Acquiring new clients and negotiate contracts, generating revenue and maintaining client relations.
  6. Developing data-driven strategies for clients to optimize various business functions using Python and SQL, and dashboarding software. Formulating strategies to optimize governance, taxes, enabled savings in tax payments, labor cost optimization, and enhanced compliance.

JOB TIME: Full Time

SALARY RANGE: $191,000 - $200,000

 

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in International Business and Management and 6 years of experience in job offered or 6 years of experience in the Related Occupation
