Job Description
Turner & Townsend is looking for a Lead Turnaround (TAR) Scheduler to join our Team to support a Large Site Shut Down for a Chemicals and Plastics Client that is remote with travel leading up to TAR, then onsite near Montgomery, AL.
The successful candidate must also be highly meticulous and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. The candidate must have a proven history of working as a Planner/Scheduler professional on large Industrial projects. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills are required.
Schedule: 4-10 schedule except during TA. 13/1 working days with 14th day off, (TAR is 6 weeks beginning in April 2025-May 2025) Remote with Travel prior to TAR

Responsibilities
- Lead the development and maintenance of Turnaround Schedule
- Provide schedule and planning support on multiple projects of various size and complexity
- Work independently in carrying out TAR's planning and scheduling efforts
- Participate actively in the overall planning process, development of detailed schedules for FEL, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning & Start-Up phases
- Track schedule and earned physical progress, key milestone changes, identify delays, and support reporting to management
- Support the Critical Path Analysis
- Support development and recommend solutions via communication and support with Turnaround Management
- Develop and generate predefined schedule reporting requirements and ad hoc reports on an as needed basis
- Ability to coordinate & organize multiple sources of schedule inputs/performance data into a master schedule platform (such as SAP, Microsoft Projects, Excel reporting) and deliver project/program status reports as required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Develops good working relationships with project team.
- Implement Project Planning & Scheduling strategy, plans and procedures, reflecting both Company and contractor roles, responsibilities and expectations.
- Promote and maintain the overall integration and integrity of contractor schedules within the Program suite of project schedules.
- Provide interface and quality assurance to Project functional groups and contractors regarding the tracking and reporting of schedule performance.
- Perform probabilistic analysis on integrated schedules and contractor schedules.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 15 years professional experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of scheduling/planning experience in chemical, petrochemical, or similar manufacturing/project environment.
- Possess in depth technical knowledgeable about overall project planning and detailed scheduling work processes for all aspects.
- Excellent Primavera P6 use and knowledge.
- Prior experience with SAP for support of Planning and Scheduling.
- OSHA 10 Certification.
- Chemical plant experience a plus.
Additional Information
The salary range for this full-time role is $130K-$180 per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
