Job Description

1. Integration and Technical Infrastructure Manager (ITIM) will provide engagement and contract appointments for contractors and long lead equipment suppliers. The Vendor PM (VPM) will provide on ground project management service to deliver the scope as defined in the project charter which includes but not limited to day to day work coordination to deliver Colos, N/W sites, offices and storage fitout while be the main onsite point of contact.

2. The work include the physical infrastructure and ICT deployment including the racks and integration work as part of the scope, IT cabling in copper and fibre infrastructure and end to end patching based on the provided ICT design. The supporting design for mechanical, electrical security and associated works for each project will be provided.

3. The VPM will act as the general point of contact for the fitout works between the contractor, landlord and ITIM.

4. The VPM will support the ITIM in providing reporting and direction on the project. The VPM will provide weekly report to ITIM confirming, open actions, risk issues for review, items requiring input, confirmation or resolution from the stakeholder group.

5. The VPM will direct and assess change management process with guidance from the ITIM, where items have impacted scope and or programme and report against the completion and hand over programme.

6. Review the progress of the works against the agreed completion programme with the contract team and advise/report on delivery and interface requirements between long lead equipment suppliers and the contract team.

7. The VPM will also provide weekly update call with the ITIM, running through open actions requiring escalation or input from the ITIM, or the group.

8. Running weekly Teams coordination and project control group, (PCG) meetings confirming outstanding actions, and managing interface between appointed contractors, long lead equipment suppliers and ITIM.

9. Engagement with the appointed ICA for any completion commissioning works. VPM have assumed all commissioning management will be via the ICA and have allowed to act as a point of coordination only for commissioning phase works.

10. Confirm point of interface between landlord, ITIM and the GC and LLEs

11. Assist with logistic management.

12. VPM will provide reporting on site safety and enforcement of best practice approach in running the works.

Qualifications

  • Minimum10 years of experience in project management
  • Candidate with IT or Electrical / Electronics background with strong project management experience is prefer.
