The successful applicant will join a team of recruiters sourcing talent across our Latin America region. 

We seek a professional who has industry experience recruiting across the Infrastructure, Natural Resources and Energy sectors - Having demonstrable experience recruiting for projects from at least one or more of the following sectors (Please click the links and check the types of projects): 

Experience in the following sectors will also considered beneficial to the role.

The Recruiter will be the first point of contact for hiring managers on all recruitment matters and will be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process. Given our growth and resource demands, the successful candidate will be comfortable functioning in a very fast-paced environment and will be skilled in delivering quality pre-screened candidates to the business.  

We are considering applicants to be based in Belo Horizonte – MG/Brazil.  The focus will be for recruiting in Brazil, but there will also be an expectation from time to time to support our regional needs.

We believe in team work and value the time that we spend together. Whilst we adopt a flexible approach to working, it is expected that you attend our office more than 50% of your time.

This position will report into the Recruitment Lead. 

Job Responsibilities 

  • You will manage and drive the selection process, end-to-end (screening, interviews, managing offers, negotiations, contact with candidates and stakeholders) all through our ATS following all procedures and make accountable hiring decisions together with the business; 
  • Comfortable resourcing, when necessary, for roles at all levels of our business; 
  • Perform References check and facilitate the transition from the recruitment process to Onboarding; 
  • Build a talent pipeline - actively talent pool for candidates to fill vacancies and proposal needs; 
  • Manage pre-approved external recruitment agencies as needed to assist with sourcing; 
  • Be responsible for major programs mobilizations especially in the Infrastructure and Natural Resources segments with multiple hires; 

Qualifications

Must have:

  • People person, who loves interacting with business stakeholders and candidates alike, able to quickly build trust and rapport.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, Pro-active and interested, well-mannered, resilient. 
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in related fields - Psychology, International Relations, Construction related majors
  • Professional Fluency in Portuguese and English, written and spoken; 
  • Proven experience of independently managing the recruitment processes end-to-end with low or minimum supervision; 
  • Minimum 5 years internal or agency recruitment experience within construction industry with proven experience recruiting for Major Programs (Over 10 positions simultaneously for the same project)
  • Experience working in a fast-pace growing company; 
  • Stakeholder management - act as a business partner for recruitment matters; 
  • Ability to understand and explain job requirements; 

Nice to have - considered as a plus for this process: 

  • Fluency in Spanish; 
  • Experience working within a global company;
