Job Description

The Planner function includes advanced planning, scheduling, progress measurement, change management implementation and analysis that may involve a major project or several smaller projects. A thorough understanding is required of policies, methods, and procedures that includes advanced Planning and Scheduling techniques, Risk Analysis, Risk Management, and support of project objectives. The Planner will provide expertise and best practice implementation in the work place for the region with regard to the planning and scheduling discipline. 

  • Maintain and monitor master plan schedule
  • Providing support to the lead planner on regular EPC schedule
  • Prepare and monitor tasks ensuring satisfactory realization of project requirements against the project schedule
  • Integrate various contract packages into master plan schedule
  • Review contractor’s submitted schedule and make recommendations to client
  • Prepare regular internal/external weekly and monthly progress report for management and client
  • Develop a project control procedure to monitor the progress of project
  • Interact with contractor and verify the project data to update project schedule
  • Develop mitigation plans
  • Assess any contractor’s extension of time claim and prepare defense claim report
  • Put forward recommendation report for any contractor’s EOT claim
  • Analyse critical path and constraints to determine the effect of changes to project schedule
  • Work out site logistic planning for project
  • Prepare and propose ‘micro-management’ schedules for critical elements of work

Qualifications

  • Planning experience who has delivered Complex Pharmaceutical or Bio - Pharmaceutical projects
  • Experience in construction scheduling/planning
  • Knowledge and experience of all of the main design or project management concepts, tools and techniques
  • Experience of working with General Contractors in a project management, or scheduler/planner capacity
  • Excellent knowledge of construction industry technical matters, such as different procurement routes, value management and value engineering
  • Understanding of the financial aspects of a project
  • Primavera P6 planner desirable
  • Membership of a recognised professional body
  • Good knowledge and experience gained within hi-tech, manufacturing, health, infrastructure, or commercial sectors
  • Business Level in German and English desired

The payment for this position is based on the collective agreement and is at least 55,000 euros gross per year with specific professional experience of 3 years. A clear over payment depending on qualification and years of service is expressly possible.
