Job Description

 

Turner & Townsend Heery are seeking a Project Management Information Systems Specialist (PMIS) responsible for the maintenance of the Kahua system being used by the PRDE project team.  This specialist will be the project and office lead for understanding and management of the established system for our technology client’s large-scale K-12 recovery program. Understanding of computers, networking, technology and PMIS is essential for this position. 

 

Job Objectives:

 

  • Support team maintaining files in Kahua.
  • Identification of issues, creation of bugs/ Feature Requests etc and work with Kahua to resolve.
  • Tracking & understanding adoption metrics.
  • Identification of key user issues.
  • Add and delete users in the system.
  • Presentation to clients and internal teams of developed dashboards in Kahua.
  • Coordinate and prepare presentation material.
  • Receive files from the program and project teams and file in Kahua.
  • Help with basic IT and network issues that occur in the office space.
  • This position will work in our San Juan area office in Puerto Rico.

Qualifications

 

  • Fluent in English & Spanish
  • Experience with Project Management Information Systems (PMIS).
  • Working knowledge of Kahua or equivalent PMIS.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft and Google Suite of applications.
  • Experience with client specific systems preferred.
  • Ability to coordinate & organize multiple sources of data.
  • Openness and interest to learn new data analysis & reporting.
  • Advanced skills with spreadsheets, charts, and presentations.
  • Ability to develop good working relationships within different client cultures and across multiple project teams.
  • Good organization skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize, and be a team player.
  • Drive to be proactive and self-motivated.
  • Advanced presentation skills and ability to thrive in a client-facing role.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
