Who are you?

You are an experienced PMIS Manager with 8 years post-graduate experience looking for the next step or are currently undertaking a similar role in a similar environment. You are also passionate about project management information systems (PMIS) and their ability to streamline processes.

 

Job Description

The PMIS Implementation Manager serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the discovery, design, implementation, and onboarding process. Action typically include (but are not limited to):

  • Lead the PMIS implementation project from start to finish, adhering to established timelines and budgets.
  • Partner with key stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and configure the PMIS system accordingly.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive training plan to ensure user adoption and proficiency with the new PMIS system.
  • Manage data migration from legacy systems to the new PMIS, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the vendor to customize system settings, workflows, and integrations to align with client requirements.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies to mitigate resistance and promote user buy-in.
  • Escalate complex problems to appropriate client and vendor departments and provide timely updates to clients, ensuring their concerns are addressed effectively.
  • Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for ongoing optimization.
  • Provide ongoing support to users after system launch and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
  • Document project activities, milestones, and lessons learned.

 

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in project management, project controls, engineering, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Security clearance (Reliability) or ability to gain this.
  • At least five years of experience in software implementation, technical consultancy, or similar roles.
  • Experience implementing Procore, Aconex, Kahua, E-Builder or another PMIS is required.
  • Experience in project management or implementation management, requiring 5+ years in the field.
  • At least one year of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Proficiency in technical product and system installation, with the ability to create technical implementation strategies and provide staff-level guidance.
  • Proven ability in diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
