Job Description

  • To be part of Turner & Townsend’s PMO team
  • Take responsibility for end-to-end service delivery
  • To provide support on major PMO, taking responsibility for an aspect of service delivery
  • To ensure that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards.
  • Establish the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters
  • Establish effective project governance, processes, and systems to be utilised throughout project.
  • Should have project, program, and product delivery experience, which allows them to get to the “so what” insights and realistically predict delivery trajectory.
  • Ensure project activities align with the overarching strategy of the organisation.
  • Leading on the monitoring and applying performance management techniques
  • Leading and advising upon project finances
  • Managing the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications
  • Preparing formal project progress and other reports
  • Taking a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction or other related fields
  • At least 10 years of experience working on PMO projects
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Project)
  • Good analytical skills, able to execute multiple projects at the same time without disruptions
  • Able to work with the client from all chains of command
  • Able to be a good representative of the client
  • Demonstrated experience of a willingness and ability to consistently dive deep into project delivery, creative problem solving, and the ability to push past barriers to achieve full project execution
  • Fluent in business English is a must (additional regional languages are a plus)
