Job Description

  • Manage and Monitor construction works, program and accomplishment
  • Oversee coordination between AE and GC (Approval of RFI’s, RFA’s, submittals, drawings, samples and mock-ups)
  • Oversee GC design, planning and coordination works
  • Oversee GC QA/QC management and implementation
  • Oversee GC Safety and Security Department management and implementation
  • Attend the CSA and M&E workshops, coordination meeting to ensure that design, technical and site issues are discussed and resolved accordingly.
  • Review and recommend Construction Management Plan (Construction Methods, Planning, Coordination, Quality Control/Assurance, Testing and implementation Plan).
  • Review and recommend for approval the EHS plan
  • Review and monitor the program, site progress and quality of works
  • Review the working programs and mitigation process in the event of delays.
  • Routine site walks with QA/QC Team to educate that GC and Packaged Contractors Site and QA/QC Team are aware on the Project Requirement and Specification.
  • Routine site walks with GC and Packaged Contractors Safety Team to have a Safe Working Environment
  • Weekly Audit on the QA/QC documents and COMPASS implementation.
  • Weekly Audit on EHS documents.
  • Client PM / Lead PM
  • Project Management & Cost Management Team
  • AE Design Team (Management Team, Engineers, Qualified Persons for Architectural & Structural-QP)
  • AE Site Supervision Team (i.e. Resident Engineers-RE & Registered Technical Officers-RTO)
  • GC Management Team (Director, Project Manager, M&E and Construction Managers)
  • GC QA/QC, Planning, Contracts, M&E and Construction Teams
  • GC Planning, Scheduling and Coordination Team (Managers, Engineers, Planners, Schedulers, Coordinators)
  • GC EHS Team (Safety Manager, Safety Officer, Safety Supervisors)
  • Packaged Contractors Team (Project Managers, Managers, Engineers & Safety Personnel)
     

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Construction Project Management, or Construction Management
  • Must have direct minimum 10 years of experience in data center construction
  • Ability to independently manage deadlines and support staff
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent client relationship skills
  • Ability to influence cross-discipline teams
  • Construction health & safety knowledge
