Job Description

Turner & Townsend have an exciting position for an experienced Estimator to lead an estimating team working with clients on Nuclear and Renewables projects. 

Although the role is based in the UK and working for UK clients, there will be also be an opportunity to support our international business.

The role will suit someone who is keen to develop new business and to develop proposals for our growing client base. Due to the nature of the work, we are keen to speak with candidates who have experience in energy across one or more of the following - offshore wind, hydrogen, solar, CCUS, Oil & Gas and Mining.

The team will deliver a wide range of Estimating outputs for our clients, to support their decision making, including:

  • Estimate Production (from Order of Magnitude estimates through to detailed estimates built up from first principles)
  • Estimating Assurance
  • Estimating Support to Major Programme Set up
  • Estimating Data

Qualifications

  • Qualified to a high standard in Estimating or Quantity Surveying with proven relevant experience, ideally in a consultancy environment
  • Relevant successful experience of provision of estimating and/or QS services in clean energy, oil & gas or mining projects
  • Previous experience of working with estimating software packages
  • Membership of a relevant professional body with chartered status or working towards
  • Desirable membership of RICS / CIOB /A. Cost E.
