RDM (Real Estate Design, Merchandising) is a dynamic strategy and decision support organization that owns the strategy for our clients. This role is for a full-stack Data Engineer within the RDM BI team to provide data driven insight to improve user experience with data assets and drive insights.

 

In this role, you will

 

  • Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions, while meeting data warehousing design standards.
  • Build data engineering assets and pipelines to surface useful business insights.
  • The role engages with cross functional business teams to define the problem statement, design analytical solutions and operationalize the solutions.
  • Have a strong understanding of analytics needs and a proactive approach, focusing on reusable solutions to improve the efficiency.
  • Build dashboards using Self Service tools like Tableau and perform iterative data analysis to support business.
  • Collaborate with multiple multi-functional teams and work on solutions which has larger impact on the business.
  • Identify analytics and opportunities that will craft the future of the Retail department by explaining methodology to business users, implementing analysis and interpreting results.
  • Work with a team of developers who implement quick turn and long lead analytics projects that provide insights into our customers and business trends.

Qualifications

 

  • Experience designing and implementing custom ETL workflows.
  • Should be proficient in writing Advanced SQLs, Expertise in performance tuning of SQL queries.
  • Advanced Tableau developer.
  • Experience handling complex data models and using APIs to integrate across different applications.
  • Advanced experience with Snowflake.
  • Experience with advanced data analytics, data transformation and data management projects.
  • Experience with commercial and emerging reporting tools and technologies (e.g. Tableau). Knowledge of predictive analytics, statistics and modeling techniques to develop and improve sophistication of Business Intelligence solutions.
  • Experience in data analytics and experience with R, Python or similar statistics tools is desirable.
  • In-depth experience of analyzing data and creating reports, data profiling, understanding anomaly detection and working with data to identify trends and make recommendations.
  • Able to quickly learn new and existing technologies.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent oral and written interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, dedicated and solution-oriented individual.

Additional Information

 

The salary range for this full-time role is $75K-$140 per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package.  Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
