Job Description
Turner & Townsend Project Coordinators help our key client achieve their program aspirations for driving efficiency and innovation within large-scale real estate construction projects. Project Coordinators work within a team of professional business consultants with a focus on service excellence and stakeholder management.

Turner & Townsend’s Project Coordinators are self-starters, able to take the initiative and drive activities with limited supervision and ideally have experience working in the construction industry.
Key Elements:
- Onsite / in-office work is required. This is not a remote role (hybrid work flexibility may or may not be established after a demonstrated period depending on our client's needs and employee's performance).
- Administer effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilized throughout project planning, mobilization, construction and close-out.
- Ensure that key information and data is effectively shared and appropriately retained.
- Build & maintain strong relationships with the client and team members.
- Interface with multiple stakeholders, including executive management, project team members, consultants and vendors.
- Manage the flow of project information between team members / stakeholders.
- Attend relevant meetings, update and maintain issues/actions logs as current.
- Development of detailed project plans, attendance at status meetings and follow-up with team members on completion status, close-out of open items.
- Make best efforts to report consistently across bi-weekly and monthly reporting on various aspects of the Projects.
- Preparation of various reports for multiple audiences, including formal project management reports, executive dashboards and other reporting requirements.
- Prepare and Support with project PRF and Funding decks
- Procurement and Cost Management:
- Assist with the preparation and management of Request for Proposals (RFPs) and tendering process from RFP to awarding winners, for consultants, vendors, and contractors.
- Manage/process vendor proposals, purchase orders, contracts and invoicing.
- Review requisitions, applications for payment for conformance with Project budget.
- Manage Change control process; assist DMs with PCOs, Change Order reviews and processing.
- Manage the Monthly Reconciliation process as well as oversee the Handover and Close Out process with all Apple Vendors.
- Monitor and report on project costs/spending, maintain project cost tracking & EVM systems.
- Liaise with the client’s finance team and others to obtain information, review & report finance/cost data.
- Identify opportunities to improve Project Management procedures, templates and products referring ideas to the appropriate line manager.
- Assist with development of new business opportunities with existing and new clients.
- Identify and act upon ways to improve systems and processes referring ideas to the appropriate manager.
- Participate in Project completion reviews, lessons learned sessions, and continuous improvement loops.
- Quality, Health, Safety & Environment: Support with reporting and making best efforts to identify and making the appropriate manager aware of quality, safety, health and environment issues.
- Manage other requests: including but not limited to sustainability, diverse spend, new vendor setup, RFQs.
- Where requested, support the execution of Programs and Projects within the existing fleet of stores.
- Attending site walks, project kick offs and close out inspections where required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the architecture and/or construction industry.
- Experience working on retail or corporate real estate projects desirable but not required.
- Prior exposure to working as part of a Project or Program focused team, and/or understanding of supply chain management activities would be an advantage.
- High computer applications literacy/fluency. Experience of analyzing data and presenting Management Information is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Apple suite of products (Numbers, Pages, and Keynote), Microsoft Office Suite, and Google tools ( Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drive), and other related online project management tools.
- Qualifications in project management/ design/ engineering or construction desirable but not required.

- Be able to work in a team environment or independently.
- Be able to bring innovation to existing processes and procedures.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to visually present data.
- A good understanding of standard forms of contract.
Additional Information
The salary range for this full-time role is $65K-$115K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
