Job Description

  1. Work directly with the Client/Owner senior management team to ensure that their program needs are met.
  2. Directly or functionally manage the wider controls team on behalf of the Program Lead - Schedulers, Cost managers, Risk Managers as appropriate.
  3. Oversee and manage all controls functions and reporting (i.e. document control, correspondence, develop and maintain budgets, forecasting, labor cost reports, scheduling, quantity reporting, record keeping, cash flow, billing, etc.).
  4. Ensure relevant company, client, and project policies, procedures, and standards are adhered to by delivery teams
  5. Provide support and training for project management team on project controls processes and support issue resolution.
  6. Provide direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions.
  7. Monitor project cost for labor, materials, subcontractors, and equipment as work progresses and take necessary measures to control cost and productivity.
  8. Review pricing for designed scope and change orders with design and trade partners to ensure scope is adequately covered.
  9. Monitor financial status (through various metrics) of the project on a regular basis for the project team.
  10. Lead and pursue continuous improvement initiatives and actions to aid in achieving business objectives.
  11. Collaborate with team and other interested parties to ensure project schedules are established and maintained and are in alignment with Owner expectations.
  12. Ensure overall project success.
  13. Monitor and manage resourcing staffing plans for all project stakeholders to ensure they are within the project budget thresholds.
  14. Perform final review and approval for Project Deliverables and Reporting as defined by the owner.
  15. Manage the change management process, including tracking and reporting of change events.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Related Field and 8 years of experience in the job offered or 8 years of experience in the Related Occupation.
