We are seeking an experienced Life Science Project Manager. Ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and working experience in the pharmaceutical and/or high-tech manufacturing industry.

As a Life Science Project Manager with Turner & Townsend you will support our clients by developing and defining their project goals and objectives. You are the face of our company and as such must represent our company well by being professional and motivated to exceed client expectations. Responsibilities include:

• Accountable for the delivery of the project with the focus on budget, schedule, and quality output.
• Drive the management of project design development across the complete delivery lifecycle, including Design & Build stage.
• Manage directly, and in certain circumstances liaise with others in the management of stakeholders to ensure project timescales are met.
• Work with the client to appoint architectural and design firms to support the project.
• Oversee the management of project estimation and project planning including all relevant statutory processes, and procurement management, working closely with all IW departments including Asset Management, Asset Operations, HSQE, Communications and Customer Operations.
• Accountable for management of project control, including resourcing and service delivery requirements, ensuring Consultant supervision where relevant and approving all payment certificates.
• Manage production and approval of project delivery plans, cash flow projections and earned value analysis.
• Responsible for the day-to-day management of construction service providers for capital projects, including conformance and compliance.
• Accountable for supervision of the project close-out activities, including commissioning and handover to Operations.
• Input into the on-going development of new templates, documents, systems, and processes for Project/program management to incorporate lessons learned and efficiencies.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree (preferably engineering, architecture, construction management or related field)
2. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of project management experience in the delivery of commercial, real estate and/or related construction projects.
3. Life science experiences is preferable.
4. Must posses’ exemplary communication skills – both oral and written.
