Due to significant growth and ongoing delivery success with our clients Australia wide, Turner & Townsend's Natural Resources division is looking for an Associate Director to join our Adelaide team.

Job Description

  • Ensuring consistent processes, standards and practices are applied for planning and scheduling across assigned projects or programs.
  • Producing and managing schedules.
  • Providing assurance and governance of quality, consistency, and compliance of planning and scheduling deliverables from contractors and vendors.
  • Preparing and implementing project wide WBS/CBS, integration with cost.
  • Developing wide resource planning or resource lookahead capability though resource loading and the integration of multiple plans and estimates.
  • Developing and implementing progress monitoring tools, reports, and dashboards.
  • Understanding and encompassing internal and external interfaces ensuring they are incorporated into an overall program.
  • Reviewing and communicating staging plans and time scaled logic diagrams to ensure proper reference to the baseline.
  • Ensuring the preparation and development of appropriate detail and summary project control schedules.
  • Implementing and monitoring schedules within each project stage and for entire project until completion/close-out.
  • Looking ahead to ensure readiness to progress forward works.
  • Ensuring the preparation and develop the interface schedules.
  • Coordinating preparation of schedule risk analysis.

Qualifications

  • Relevant work experience 5+ years
  • A recognised Degree qualification in Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Construction, Economics, Engineering or similar.
  • Natural Resource (Oil & Gas) experience ideal, but not a prerequisite.
  • Experience working as a Senior Planner & Scheduler across a large diverse portfolio of capital projects with hands on experience in summarisation data.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the pragmatic applications of project management systems and techniques.
  • Expertise in key business systems such as Primavera P6, Primavera Risk Analysis, Acumen Fuse, Excel, Power BI, etc.
  • Ability to navigate complex internal processes (client) and work remotely to support multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build cohesive and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
