Job Description

  • To support the project services manager in all aspect of quantity surveying and service
  • Verify site progress claim and prepare payment certificates in accordance with cost system.
  • Advice to project management on contractual disputes and claims
  • Prepare final accounts and contract close out agreements
  • Setting up and administration of the site change management system and register including contractual validation, scope check, estimation and agreement of changes
  • Set up and manage site cost reporting process, e.g.: cost reporting process set up, based on the project Work Breakdown Structure, fully aligned with the project programme/schedule,
  • Audit and analysis of contractor cost reports and cost variances
  • Preparation of site cost reports not limited to budget, changes to budget, VOWD, AFC, forecast to complete, all per the WBS

Qualifications

  • 10-15 years quantity surveying, cost and contract management experience within the oil and gas industry and downstream petrochemicals industry
  • Possess a degree in quantity Surveying or cost engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Strong commercial management skills, motivated, energetic with "can do" altitude.
  • Knowledge in post award contract management for offshore and FPSO construction work
  • Experience in all aspects of post contract administration work, including contract administration, budget preparation and cost reporting will be ad added advantage
  • Good experience of man-hour and financial cost analysis and cost reporting systems in the industry.
  • Experience of site measurement and man-hour recording of construction work in all disciplines
  • Knowledge of budget and accounting procedures
  • Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence to and for management

Note:

  • Applicants must either possess permanent residency or citizenship in Singapore
  • 12 month renewable contract
