Job Description

Due to growth and on-going delivery success, Turner & Townsend are seeking an Associate Director to join the Advisory team in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities:

  • To lead Consulting Commissions, taking responsibility for specific deliverables, often with respect to significant business transformation, cultural change, new ways of working and capital program capability uplift.
  • To lead Consulting service proposition development.
  • To source, engage and convert business development opportunities for Consulting.
  • To provide complementary services to core Turner & Townsends propositions such as project management, cost management, contract services and program management.
  • Managing change proactively with client stakeholders
  • To be the first point of contact for our clients, ensuring that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards.
  • Identifying and lead improvement or efficiency opportunities and driving through to implementation through consulting change management and delivery.
  • Deploying a variety of techniques to deliver improvements to client operations that include, but are not limited to, process re-engineering, organisational change, stakeholder management implementation and beyond.
  • Establishing effective client governance, processes and systems to be utilised throughout project.
  • Implementation planning, including ensuring the production of the detailed project plan.
  • To lead the development of consulting and advisory sales opportunities with new or existing clients and convert successfully through high quality bid writing.
  • Translating client strategy into clear action plans that make a tangible difference.
  • Producing clear, concise and persuasive client-facing reports or deliverables in various formats that deliver to client expectations and demonstrate value.
  • Help the Business Unit Manager to build the advisory team to support all Netherlands Business Units.

Qualifications

  • Professionally qualified in one of the following fields: management consulting, business management, program management, project management or information technology.
  • Self-sufficient in leading client process, improvement, change, & transformation
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience within consulting and or capital program delivery
  • Experience in delivering capital projects / program management
  • Good understanding of business improvement approaches including business process re-engineering, system development, change management and other relevant techniques.
  • Experience of consulting commissions for medium, large, sized clients of medium to high complexity that deliver a tangible return on investment.
  • (Preferred) Experience of working across sectors that may include property, infrastructure or natural resources and both the private and public sector
  • Fluent Dutch and English language skills and local market experience and network
