Job Description

The role is work within the regional team as the lead and SPOC for all commercial matters and process improvement reporting to the APAC Regional Lead. Be single point of contact for APAC Regional Team for commercial and process improvement

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Interrogation and validation of project cost information including; Pre IEP Cost plans, ECI’s, Post IEP cost plans, pre-tender estimates, tender packs, tender evaluations, variations and final accounts
  • Collaborate with all regional stakeholders to develop simple, effective standardised cost plans / cost models, trackers and other project tools for commonly occurring projects and tasks
  • Continuously maintain and own the process Playbook and RACI for PM & CM delivery
  • Drive efficiency and improvement of process, standards and delivery methods
  • Collaborate with other regional functions to identify process inconsistencies or inefficiency in region and implement changes with full stakeholder alignment
  • Lead new project team onboarding and training of processes across functions
  • Generate and drive continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with the regional PMO lead and the global commercial lead.  
  • To take a lead role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages

 

Qualifications

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management/Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 - 15 years' experience in related fields
  • Chartered professional would be desirable (MRICS)
  • Experience from consultancy background is preferred with corporate end user / commercial fit-out / base build office / PMO experience
  • Able communicate and engage with diverse stakeholders from different parts of the region.
  • Team player with excellent leadership and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiation, influence and persuade others
