Who are you?

You are an experienced industry professional with a minimum of 10 years post-graduate experience working within the Data Center/High Tech environment, looking for the next step or are currently undertaking a similar role in a similar environment.  

Job Description

With a vision to be the leading asset advisory and capital programs professional services provider operating across real estate, infrastructure and natural resources, the North America region (United States and Canada) is a high growth market for Turner & Townsend. Critical to achieving this milestone is a multi-disciplinary leadership team, with business generation at its core, that can strengthen the Turner & Townsend brand and supports our client-facing professionals in capturing new opportunities and growing existing business.

We are seeking an established Data Center executive to lead the sector across the North America region, with a primary focus on the American market. This role presents a unique opportunity for a progressive leader to build from a strong foundation, taking operations to the next level of maturity.

The primary objective of the role is to accelerate our growth, increase our market share and establish our position as the leading consultancy in the region.

Responsibilities Include

  • Determining and delivering an accelerated business generation strategy.
  • Building our proposition and delivery capability.
  • Developing and maintaining senior / executive level relationships with clients and industry peers.
  • Leading bid and proposal efforts.
  • Coordinating with project team leaders on project negotiations and execution.
  • Project execution assurance.
  • Working closely with, and oversee the performance of, existing operational Project and Cost Management teams.
  • Being the internal point of contact, and Subject Matter Expect for all things Data Centers.
  • Create long term goals for our Mission Critical Business, and present to Global Leadership team.  
  • Work with our Communications team to devise and deliver flagship communications campaigns to increase awareness of our brand. 

Qualifications

  • A comprehensive knowledge of the construction consultancy/advisory business that adds value or strategically enhances deliverables and initiatives.
  • 10+ years of extensive experience in delivering Data Center capital projects / programs. 
  • Proven track record in winning work / business development.
  • Established DC industry network.
  • Strong market reputation, recognition as a subject matter expert.
  • Degree holder in relevant discipline.
  • A proven ability to successfully mentor and supervise employees.
  • An ability to develop, manage and improve business processes and initiatives to support a rapidly growing business.
  • Proactive, meticulous, self-motivated and hands-on team-player with the ability to multitask.
  • Should be a self-starter and possess a strong ability to handle multiple internal deliverables simultaneously to tight deadlines. 
  • Demonstrates the utmost in integrity, with a solid work ethic, confidence, diplomacy, and credibility.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills essential, ability to communicate well with clients and senior management.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business applications.
