Job Description

Role Overview

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Manager to join our UK HR team in Leeds, on a 12 month, fixed term contract basis.

You will be responsible for providing strategic and operational advice to your stakeholders and supporting the UK HR Director in delivering the people strategy.

This is a hands on role where practical HR solutions are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities to include, but not necessarily be limited to:

  • Leading on HR projects / change initiatives to support the delivery of the people strategy  
  • Leading on complex ER matters
  • Delivery of HR Calendar activities for stakeholder group
  • Resolving complex people issues to deliver commercial and pragmatic outcomes
  • Providing advice and information required to support tender processes or TUPE transfers
  • Leading on diversity and inclusion initiatives to help deliver the company’s diversity and inclusion strategy
  • Ensuring talent management plans are in place for your stakeholder group and provide support in developing talent
  • Developing members of the HR team

Qualifications

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrable experience in delivering excellent HR service within a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work autonomously, with minimal oversight
  • Strong client relationships and influencing skills
  • Resilience
  • Excellent IT skills (advanced Excel and PowerPoint)
  • CIPD qualified
