Due to growth and ongoing delivery success with key clients, Turner & Townsend's Natural Resources division in Adelaide requires an experienced Senior Planner with mining experience to join the team

Job Description

This senior position requires experienced professional with the following experience;

  • Planning experience at Project, Program and portfolio level
  • Experience in both deliver and assurance planning functions
  • Demonstrated knowledge of project management principles
  • Ability to manage and develop a team of planners
  • Work in an integrated planning and cost environment within the Project to optimise the use of available resources to complete work plan scopes within budget and time constraints
  • Ensure that the established planning and scheduling methodology is followed in developing project schedule
  • Develop Project Milestone and Progress tracking baselines
  • Ensure engineering service provider / contractor compliance with established scheduling methodology and manage performance
  • Support the development of the Work Breakdown Structure to support project delivery
  • Perform analysis of schedule data; communicating trends, issues, and areas requiring attention to the Project Team.

Qualifications

  • 15 years’ experience in a project planning role in a large organisation – ideally consultancy
  • At least 5 years minimum mining/minerals experience
  • Extensive experience in planning & scheduling of major capital projects
  • Experienced with network planning structures and techniques, experienced user of Primavera Project Planner 6.0 or above, and Microsoft Project
  • Experience with risk identification and analysis and data analysis
