Job Description

You shall assist the Authority's contract administration team in administering the project's tunnel/viaduct contracts. The scope of services shall include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Compliance with the Authority's procedural requirements and familiarisation with the project's tunnel contracts' documents.
  • Ensuring Contractors' compliance with the project's tunnel contracts documents.
  • Measure, assess and verify the value of work done and recommending the response amount (defined under Building & Construction Industry Security of Payment Act), giving reasons for the difference between the claimed amount and response amount for Contractors' monthly progress payments.
  • Assess and put up recommendation for variation works. All instructions on variation must have prior approval from the appropriate approving authority before issuance.
  • Timely settlement and finalisation of variation orders.
  • Monitor and control project cost.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports.
  • Collate information on Contractors' claims.
  • Draft letters.
  • Attend relevant meetings.
  • Collate statistical information.
  • Prepare the final account within the period as specified in the Civil Contracts' Condition of Contracts or such other period instructed by the Authority.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Degree (recognised by Public Sector Panels of Consultants (PSPC) or equivalent) in Project & Facilities Management, Building or Quantity Surveying.
  • Between 3 - 10  years' of relevant working experience in consultant QS firm. Singapore experience essential.
  • Those proficient in BIM Quantity Take-off will be preferred.
