Turner & Townsend is one of the leading providers of consulting services to the Real Estate, Natural Resources and Infrastructure construction sectors globally. Using our skills, methodology and knowledge we provide industry leading services to our clients. Our Programme Advisory team is led by a team of experts in the strategy, set-up and transformation of major programme organisations both in the UK and globally, with a market leading client base across the public and private sectors.

As part of our growth in this area, we are seeking to recruit a Senior consultant to support our clients in setting up or transforming their capital programme organisations. We are looking for people with extensive change management experience, who are comfortable delivering change using a variety of tools and techniques, in addition to having the skills to manage a distinct programme or workstream. This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to join our Programme Advisory business, an expanding team where you can shape your career by  working with world renowned clients and support us by contributing to our growth.

In order to support our Programme Advisory business you must be able to:

  • Clearly demonstrate to client organisations an understanding of their environment and key triggers to drive change in a project or programme delivery business
  • Lead and contribute to key activities within the Programme Advisory team including project work with clients and internal development work
  • Lead change management activity, including facilitating workshops, developing deliverables and managing multiple client stakeholders
  • Support the development of internal transformation products and approaches which combine best practice, models, theories and real life experience
  • Work within a diverse and multi-disciplinary teams, to act as a representative of Turner & Townsend on client site
  • Prepare, define and support on bid proposals, and work closely alongside Senior Management and the wider Turner & Townsend team
  • Identify, contribute to and progress business development opportunities where appropriate
  • Fundamental to success within this business unit is strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills to support clients through their challenges and support successful realisation of outcomes with a focus on client care

Qualifications

  • Graduate calibre with relevant industry experience in delivering change and transformation programmes, ideally in major capital programmes as part of a consulting environment or in-house consulting role.
  • Demonstrable evidence of ‘hands-on’ change management to truly change how people work on a day to day basis
  • Programme management experience within a transformation environment, including understanding of how to design, deliver and control transformation programmes
  • Evidence of leading and producing high quality deliverables in complex transformation environments
  • Very strong communication and relationship building skills able to work and thrive in a multi stakeholder environment, including presenting to senior clients
  • Robust and methodical analytical skills, able to take data and develop insight into issues to support solution and strategy development 
  • A natural gravitas in dealings with clients, with a ‘making the difference’ approach
  • Experience in some or all of the following sectors will be viewed favourably; infrastructure, transportation, utilities, commercial, government, natural resources and real estate.
