Job Description

Sign-on bonus up to $5,000*

  • Performs and assists with Cardiac Catheterizations, Angioplasty, Peripheral Vascular Procedures, Interventional Radiology Procedures, and Pacemakers. 
  • Scrubs in all procedures, assists the physician by facilitating injection of contrast, holding wires, assists in accessing the patient.
  •  Anticipates appropriate angles for imaging based on the procedure.
  • Takes call for Cardiac and Endovascular program. Continuously strives to develop/improve systems and relationships with all customers. 
  • Participates in the orientation of new staff to the Cardiac and Endovascular Center. 

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program, with additional training in Cardiovascular Technology a plus. 
  • BLS and ACLS provider. 
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a Interventional Cardiac Catherization Lab and/or Special Procedure Lab. 
  • Competent to operate all equipment in the department.  Must be able to transport patients from wheelchair or patient slide board to and from table. 
  • Able to assist in lifting of patients to proper position.
