Job Description

Sign on bonus up to $5,000

The Surgical/O.R. Tech is responsible for assisting the physician with the preparation and performance of all scrub duties in the surgical procedures in Labor & Delivery.  Performs routine technical and various other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • High School Graduate or equivalent education.  Certification by an entity accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies required (must be obtained within 12 months of completing the training program).   Maintenance of current BLS certification.
  • 1-2 years of Operating Room experience preferred. 
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to work with detailed, confidential material, computer experience required.  Ability to follow directions and work with precision under pressure.  Maintains sensitivity, maturity and flexibility in coping with difficult situations.
