Join the dynamic Rehabilitation team at MelroseWakefield Healthcare and find your second family with us!  We are searching for an OT for our medpsych and/or geropsich units.  Our therapists work closely together with the medical team to have a direct impact on the surrounding community. We provide mentorship and training across our Behavioral Health units and encourage clinical and programmatic innovation and growth.  Take your opportunity to make your mark in the lives of our patients and in our organization!

The Occupational Therapist will evaluate & treat patients in our med/pysch adult behavioral health setting. The Occupational Therapist will be educated and experienced in treating behavioral health patients assisting them to reach their highest level of function. The Occupational Therapist is responsible for running groups, treatment planning, evaluations, 1:1 treatments and documenting all patient care appropriately in the medical record to comply with the policies and procedures of the department and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

EDUCATION: Bachelor or Master degree in Occupational Therapy, MA Licensure. CPR certified.

EXPERIENCE: Entry-level position for inpatient behavioral health

SKILLS/ABILITIES: Good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to develop treatment plans.
