Tufts Medical Center Community Care is seeking a Psychotherapist for our outpatient behavioral health service, Community Counseling Services. The Psychotherapist position will see patients for individual, couples and/or group therapy both virtually using telehealth and in person in Lowell.  We are seeking a full or part time employee to join this dynamic department of therapists, psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners in order to help us continue to enhance our offerings to behavioral health patients.

Key responsibilities of the psychotherapist include:

• Provide initial diagnostic assessment, and ongoing treatment, for individual patients and/or groups
• Utilize appropriate modalities to provide treatment that best serves the needs of the patients
• Work collaboratively with other therapists, prescribers and primary care physicians to address the behavioral health needs of their patients
• Participate in utilization review proves
• Identify high risk clients for review with clinical therapy supervisor
• Expand access within our system for patients with behavioral health needs

• Experience with short term psychotherapy models (CBT, SFT, MI) is desirable
• Experience with DBT is desirable
• Experience with Dual Diagnosis patients is a plus but not required
• LICSW , LMHC, PhD or PsyD required
