Job Description

We’re looking for a Sales & Business Development Manager to join our expanding Sales and Business Development team. Based in Brazil, you will be part of a team responsible for growing Trustonic’s customer base in the Americas. Travel is expected to represent a significant proportion of time.

A bit about the team and what you'll deliver...

The Trustonic Sales and Business Development team is responsible for creating new business opportunities, establishing and nurturing customer relationships and delivering customer solutions all across the Americas region.

Reporting to our VP, Americas Sales we are looking for a customer-focused Sales & Business Development Manager who can easily integrate themselves to the business opportunities of Latin America initially and beyond.

As a Sales & Business Development Manager, you will deliver: 

  • strategic partner prospects and where applicable support the establishment of these relationships
  • establish new potential clients through making connections, building relationships and establishing networks
  • appropriate products/services to potential clients that meet their needs
  • build plans to create new business opportunities in the market and winning new customers
  • fulfil key deal preparation, presentation and leadership to attain a successful close
  • provide customer and market insight to support the development of the wider go-to-market strategy
  • translate market feedback and collate data and information to provide guidance for our product strategies
  • insight, support and collaboration across the Americas (with a focus on Brazil) team to maximise sales opportunities.
  • cultivate & develop accounts, partner, device manufacturer (OEM) relationships and opportunities, in order to deliver associated revenues and value within new and existing accounts
  • work closely with Product Management, Engineering, and broader Commercial team to provide collaboration and feedback that helps align our solutions with market needs

What makes you, you...

Experience

  • 3-5 years of demonstrable Business Development experience at a Technology company
  • The ideal candidate will have strong business development experience/track record within the Telecommunications, ideally around device manufacturers (OEMs) and solutions/software sales
  • Preferred experience in Security products and Mobile device Solutions
  • Mobile technology or Mobile Device Solutions sales and business development a strong plus
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques
  • Experience with working with partners – both channel partners and device manufacturers
  • Proven success and professional networks in both retail and finance sectors

Knowledge

  • must have a strong understanding of mobile device ecosystem, service providers, and mobile app protection
  • must have a strong understanding of security solutions
  • understanding of Sales performance metrics

Technical skills: 

  • strong sales and refined negotiation skills with the ability to initiate relationships, assess partnership viability, work through deal cycles and close complex deals
  • strong verbal and written communication skills, and ability to speak effectively to any audience
  • ability to deliver engaging presentations

Languages

  • Fluent English and Portuguese, both written and spoken

Qualifications

  • Degree, MBA or relevant experience
