Job Description

We are looking for an Android Framework/AOSP Engineer to join our Engineering team at Trustonic. You will be part of a team responsible for working with wider internal teams to develop and test system applications. 

The main responsibilities of the Android Framework/AOSP Engineer are: 

  • Developing, debugging, and testing Android system applications, framework, and AOSP components
  • Building custom Android Operating ROMs
  • Work with the engineering team manager and technical experts 
  • Work with QA Engineers to constantly improve the product quality 
  • Track and resolve product defects 
  • Help with L3 support efforts 

Qualifications

A degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience

Additional Information

What makes you, you...

  • Previous experience with Android system applications, Android Framework, AOSP
  • Experience customizing AOSP for device control and new framework components 
  • Skilled in Java and C/C++
  • Experience debugging the full stack from UI to backend including networking 
  • Reverse engineering skills 
  • Familiar with revision control, build, CI, and code review tools like git, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Bitbucket
  • Fluency in English is required as it is the business language in the Company 
  • Team player 
  • The ability to thrive in a dynamic, constantly evolving, small team environment 
  • Prepared to invest whatever effort is required to get the job done 
  • The ability to operate with integrity and transparency and conduct business in a proper manner
