We’re looking for an ambitious, Marketing Manager, to join our Marketing team to lead our proposition and campaign activity focused on the mobile and auto industries

Our ideal candidate will have 5+ years B2B technology marketing experience to thrive in this broad marketing role.

Job Description

A bit about the team and what you’ll deliver…

We are looking for a candidate who has experience of creating a marketing plan to drive awareness and leads for this our core markets. Based (flexibly) in the UK, this position reports into our Chief Marketing Officer.  An expert in creating campaigns, managing events (both virtual & in person) the candidate will focus on all campaigns to drive inbound lead generation. The role will also be responsible for the creation of marketing materials, as well as broaden our market awareness in the media. Collaboration in the role will be key to success, particularly within the marketing team, but also with the product and sales teams.

As a Marketing Manager, you will: 

  • develop and execute a leading and competitive focused marketing plan for both telecoms and automotive sectors. Ensuring that all marketing campaigns are integrated to maximise demand generation - outbound email, salesforce automation, marketing automation and webinars
  • working with the Digital marketing manager create and execute a paid acquisition program, to generate new inbound leads
  • lead the content creation for the sector marketing approach, defining a clear content pipeline and calendar are published and promoted through the optimum mix of digital channels
  • drive a regional marketing strategy (current core regions – Latam and Africa) and its execution in our key regions
  • work with our in-region sales teams to ensure the product marketing materials area created
  • work with network of external providers to ensure the consistency of marketing materials, including creative execution and tone of voice
  • have a continuous improvement approach to the performance of all campaigns, learning and iterating to drive momentum and success
  • contribute to the overall Marketing function, including setting the team objectives and direction

Experience

  • successful track record in creating and executing regional marketing strategies, in B2B technology sector
  • experience of working with digital marketing teams to creating a content pipeline, including understanding of key words and their role in content creation
  • experience of working in a global team, with regional experience of either Latin America or Africa, with ability to flex marketing priorities according to regional needs
  • ability to work with and get the best out of external agencies, including  PR, freelancers, translators & use of global online creative resources
  • proven ability to create and manage marketing budgets and priorities
  • experience of defining and using a range of marketing and project management tools, videos, digital, webinars

Languages

  • English, both written and spoken
  • Spanish is helpful

Qualifications

  • undergraduate degree in business or similar discipline preferred or equivalent level of skill, experience, and knowledge

Knowledge:

  • strong understanding of mobile and / or auto industries preferred
  • understanding of marketing mix

Technical skills: 

  • strong marketing skills set – ability to create a concept & manage all aspects of the marketing plan to deliver
  • strong verbal and written communication skills, and ability to speak effectively to any audience
  • ability to deliver engaging presentations
  • digital experience – understanding digital tools, SEO & their impact on content creation.
