Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Ecommerce Web Analyst  to join our Digital team. You will be responsible for analyzing our digital experiences and providing actionable insights to improve the user experience and drive new pet enrollments. Successful candidates will be able to work independently, have insatiable curiosity, and share our joint passions of data & pets.

This position is a hybrid role open to candidates in the Seattle area, working at least three days out of our casual and pet friendly Seattle office per week.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop, maintain, and automate analytical tools used by Trupanion to enable standardized and efficient data-driven decision-making.
  • Lead and manage the delivery of digital analytics reporting of trupanion.com to inform data-driven decision making
  • Plan, prioritize and lead analytics projects to deliver revenue-generating insights or increase operational efficiencies
  • Day-to-day owner of the analytics toolset Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager and Contentsquare
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to determine the root cause of data integrity issues and develop immediate plans for resolution in core reporting.
  • Lead analysis of the digital buying journey via advanced/standard reports and journey deep dives
  • Improve understanding of audiences and digital channels and their contribution to enrolment and conversion goals
  • Work with agency partners to implement tracking and measurement tools to assess, and report return on marketing investment and marketing campaign performance
  • Work closely with Business Intelligence teams and Marketing leaders to enable rich data reports to provide actionable insights on conversion optimization
  • Create SOPs and process documentation for reporting and analytics created
  • Be a storyteller. Communicate what the data is telling you and distill insights into actions

Experience:

  • 5 years of web analytics experience with a successful track record of managing digital analytics tools in a B2C acquisition environment
  • In depth knowledge of web analysis best practices delivering dashboards, reporting and insights on the digital acquisition journey and user experience
  • Experience with data driven marketing projects and AB/multivariate testing analytics
  • Ability to interpret and present data in meaningful ways, providing actionable insights to stakeholders
  • Experience of reporting within a Marketing Automation system is an advantage

Compensation:

  • The pay range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000 on a full-time schedule.
  • Along with the base salary, Trupanion employees may be eligible for monthly bonuses
  • We want all employees to be invested in Trupanion’s success, so we grant Restricted Stock Units to all new team members. Our new hire grants vest over 4 years.
