The Senior Unix Linux Administrator will work independently as well as on a team with other Administrators and Engineers. All applicants must have 10 years of Information Technology experience and 7 years of UNIX/Linux Administration experience and an active TS/SCI. You must also be willing to work onsite. No exceptions!!!

· Extensive knowledge of Information Technology (IT) networking, hardware, firmware, application software, operating system software, and database management systems (DBMS)

·Capable of tuning systems, applications and database for performance, troubleshooting systems with complex interfaces integrated in multi-layered networks

·Extensive knowledge of Information Assurance (IA) and IT Security and capable of designing and implementing user authorizations, credential examination and system access monitoring and intrusion/penetration alert notification

·Full knowledge of fault tolerant system implementation utilizing Storage Area Networks (SAN) and industry standard fail-over software applications and techniques

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Network Engineering/Electronic

CERTIFICATION:

IAT III, DOD 8140.01/DOD 8570.01-M. All additional mandatory certifications shall be acquired within six months of the start of performance of the related task order

Candidate must have prior experience working in a CMMI Maturity Level 2 & Level 3 environment
