Job Description

The Software Developer – Senior works independently or leading a team in designing and engineering new software products or major enhancements to existing software. Acts as highest-level technical expert, addressing problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results. Designs, codes, tests, debug and document those programs. Conducts code reviews of subordinate developers and peers. Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications programming activities. Coordinates with Cybersecurity team members to implement and maintain a SSDLC with an understanding of the NIST SP 800-63 RMF and the DoD implementation of RMF.

Qualifications

·        10+ years-experience in software design, engineering, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, problem diagnosis and resolution.

·        Effective oral and written communication skills.  Experience mentoring teammates and peer reviewing code.

·        Experience with war fighting reporting systems equipping the force, causalities, planning, logistics, COOP

·        Experience working on teams with CMMI Maturity Level 3 for Development and Level 2 for Services.

Must Have

  • Experience with all phases of the SDLC in high-side environments
  • SharePoint 2013\2016 on-prem custom solution engineering through Visual Studio
  • Strong .NET development background: ASP\MVC.NET, C#
  • Strong front-end development background: JavaScript, JQuery, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, XML, XSLT, and XPATH
  • SharePoint Client-Side Object Model (CSOM), REST APIs, Web services
  • Experience developing custom workflows, user controls, server controls, web parts, features\feature receivers, pages, solution packages
  • Microsoft Visual Studio 2015+
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2016 Database Development\Administration in SharePoint environments
  • Microsoft Team Foundation Server 2015+

Additional Qualifications

  • Microsoft Certified Professional: Exam 70-488 and/or 70-489
  •  Microsoft Office 2013
  • Microsoft Visio Professional 2013
  • Microsoft Test Manager 2015
  • Experience in at least one other high-level programming languages: C++, Java, Python, Go
  • Adobe Professional XI, Adobe Design and Web Premium (CS6)

Education

  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other relevant discipline; or equivalent work experience.
