Job Description

TrueTandem is seeking a Business Analyst/Writer for a Records Management Digital Improvements Project to support a technical software system implementation for a federal government agency.   The Business Analyst/Writer will help analyze the current Agency records management system and then assist in defining, presenting and confirming acceptance of the Project's new proposed records management system architecture and its system development and implementation. 

Based on proposed Project architecture, new records documentation policy language may be provided and proposed to the client.  Upon client acceptance of the proposed architecture, Project build and implementation will begin, which may include Project team expansion. 

This position will be part of an initial 3-person Project Solutions Team (which includes a Project Leader/Manager and Solutions Architect). 

This is a great opportunity for a strong Business Analyst/Writer possessing strong business analysis and writing experience, project management, systems integration and modernization experience, and great technical writing skills.  

Experience working with a Solutions Architect to define proposed Project architectural requirements is also preferred.  You must be detail-oriented and able to communicate well at a technical level, such as providing process workflow definition and data migration.

NOTE:  Candidates must possess An Active or recently inactive Secret security clearance. This position also requires candidates to be available to work on-site in the Metro DC area (and is not a remote position).

Qualifications

REQUIRED Business Analyst and Writing skills needed include: 

 

  • 3-5 years of business analysis experience; Ability to review and analyze current and (propose) future technical and policy language needs 
  • Possess prior IT Project implementation experience, preferably with System modernization projects
  • Be detail-oriented and able to communicate well at a technical level, such as providing process workflow definition and data migration.
  • Able to assist in defining Project solutions and requirements language 
  • Possess a customer service mindset and able to work well with various levels of client staff and Project management
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, including good grammar and spelling
  • Prior federal contract work experience required
  • B.S. in Communications, Journalism, or Policy
  • An Active or recently inactive Secret security clearance is required.

PREFERRED skills and experience include:

  • Prior experience working with Solutions Architects and Developers
  • Experience with MS Dynamics or exposure to MFST platform development  
  • Prior electronic records management and reporting experience (including digital signature and receipt acceptance)
  • Prior work with policy language analysis and/or writing

Candidates must possess an Active or recently inactive Secret government security clearance 

Candidates must be able to work in Washington DC at the client site.
