Job Description

True Food Kitchen is looking for a Digital Engagement Manager to grow audience engagement across all digital platforms. This role will develop and execute the online content and engagement strategy including brand’s website,  social media channels and email marketing with the goal of increasing brand awareness, attracting new consumers and growing and enhancing consumer engagement. The Digital Engagement Manager will use available digital metrics and a keen knowledge of new and emerging technologies to maximize search rankings, optimize content, and analyze user engagement.

 

The ideal candidate will have creative and technical copywriting skills and will leverage brand voice and brand personality to write and edit content for social, email, and website including any other digital applications. He or she will manage all guest- facing engagement including online reputation management and will monitor, respond, and engage with customers on social media platforms, and other digital channels.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Leverage the digital properties including website, review sites and social media platforms to grow brand awareness
  • Develop a content strategy and execute daily activities designed to increase engagement of current guests while attracting new followers
  • Assist with email marketing calendar management, email creation and scheduling sends to various audiences
  • Collaborate with other function heads and vendor partners to ensure that the websites and social media content related to the company, its branding and marketing messages, are created, maintained, updated, consistent and evaluated for effectiveness and efficiency
  • Implement and optimize the SEO strategy – research and define desired keywords and target audiences, contribute to and manage the website editorial and publishing calendar to increase organic traffic to the website
  • Promote the company to key audiences by preparing feature stories or posts for digital publications – including the gathering and editing of the material(s) for those publications
  • Write and edit daily content for website, blog and/or social media channels
  • Establish and continually enhance the online brand voice and tone, and monitor that all communications match those established guidelines, including reviews, social listening and resonding and third party review sites
  • Ensure effective and timely production of content by working closely with marketing team, photographers, contributors, designers, vendor partners and web developers to coordinate production schedules and complete projects on time
  • Manage social media strategy and management of online and social media activity, including social advertising, copywriting, and community listening and response.
  • Monitor, analyze and report on metrics to measure success of engagement and compaigns on monthly and quarterly performance
  • Remain informed of timely digital trends through research, professional network of contacts, development courses, and attending training and/ or seminars
  • Contribute to the overall success of the marketing department

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing, communications, or similar.
  • A minimum of three years experience in content creation, marketing, communications and a strong understanding of industry trends and the digital space – including web, social and emerging technologies.
  • Experience with web analytics platforms including Google Analytics and social media monitoring software.
  • A portfolio of published work.
  • Photography and /or videography skills a plus.
  • Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress, Drupal, and Joomla.
  • Proficient in content and layout design tools such as Adobe InCopy and InDesign.
  • Excellent computer skills with MS Office and Google Suite.
  • Solid understanding of digital content practices such as SEO, SMO, and PPC.
  • Excellent copywriting and written communication.
  • Current in digital content and consumer trends and advancements in technology.
  • Must be based in Phoenix, AZ
